About us

We are a non-profit organization
which aims to create an animal service center
in the Haut-Saint-Laurent region

Our Mission

Become the reference body for animal protection and welfare in the Haut-Saint-Laurent region and an education model for citizens. In addition, promote the importance of sterilization and microchip. This will allow us to help even more animals, while helping to change the attitudes and laws about animal welfare in our province.

Our Goals

Group together people interested in promoting the protection, defense and respect of animals on the territory.

Accommodate and temporarily shelter abandoned, lost or injured animals delivered by either citizens or municipalities.

Encourage life support for animals and work harder to reduce the use of euthanasia.

Highlight the importance of the microchip, as it is difficult to find the owner of a lost pet without a medal. A microchipped animal is more easily identifiable. It would be easier and more beneficial for municipalities to have an animal registry.

Offer and assume animal control to municipalities.

Report any animal cruelty to the Canadian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or the appropriate provincial government bodies or their agents.

Promote awareness and education programs on animal welfare, homeowner empowerment and bite prevention.
